How they came to that conclusion I have no idea. Apparently, Zak Bagans and his crew (Ghost Adventures) heard about the haunted American Idol Mansion and added their two cents to the ordeal. The Ghost Adventures crew demonstrates their “ghost hunting” techniques on the very popular television show Ghost Adventures. It is one of the highest rating paranormal shows out there, yet I’ve never really seen a single episode. Probably because I don’t believe that the modern “ghost hunting” techniques that are portrayed on television yield to any useful data. It’s not scientific, nor is it original. Somehow these shows repeat the same cookie-cutter paranormal investigation (almost always at night) and yet the groups have become the leaders in the paranormal by default.
My question when reading the article from TMZ is this: “How the hell did you come up with demons?”
I mean the initial report from TMZ only stated that the Idol participants claimed to have seen flickering lights and a floating bed sheet. That’s it! So how Zak Bagans and his crew came up with a ‘demonic haunting’ is beyond me.
Of course all this is just good publicity for the Ghost Adventures team since American Idol is one of the highest rated shows out there.
It seems like ever since the shows Paranormal State, Psychic Kids, Ghost Adventures and Ghost Hunters came into American homes in the early 2000s, the term “demonic haunting” seems to get tossed around so freely.
I don’t know if ghosts or demons exist, but to call yourself a paranormal expert and feel that you can freely use the term ‘demonic haunting’ in most of your investigations is detrimental.

49 commentsThe crew from “Ghost Adventures” believes there may be DEMONIC activity inside the haunted “American Idol” mansion … and they want to investigate the place ASAP … TMZ has learned
Zak Bagans — lead investigator of the “Ghost Adventures Crew” — insists the alleged paranormal activity inside the Beverly Hills mansion where the “A.I.” finalists were staying sounds LEGIT and “possibly demonic.”
As TMZ first reported, the “Idol” gang MOVED OUT of the place last week after several spooky incidents — including flickering lights, mysterious spider infestations, and a FLOATING WHITE SHEET!!
Zak tells tells us he feels the best way to investigate the supernatural situation would be to bring the “Idol” finalists BACK to the house so he can use them as “trigger objects.”
Zak explains, “If there are spirits or demonic entities present they may have had a connection with one of them … hence all the activity.”
We’re told the “Ghost Adventures Crew” has already been in touch with the people at “Idol.”
