Uk’s ‘The Sun’ reported that council staff at the Wintern Day Centre in Fishguard, Pembrokeshire, are so terrified of the strange paranormal activity that goes on in the building, that they are refusing to work after dark.
Reports of Keyboards being turned upside down, objects being flung around and furniture being moved around when no one is present, has stirred up the workers. Some suggest that this could be caused by the supposed ghosts of two maids who had killed themselves in the building’s attic.

COUNCIL staff are refusing to work after dark — because they fear their building is haunted by GHOSTS.
Terrified day centre staff say unplugged printers have started printing, computer keyboards have been suddenly overturned and furniture has been mysteriously moved.
The workers even noticed the smell of BLUEBELLS drifting through rooms as objects fly off walls.
Council bosses running the Wintern Day Centre in Fishguard, Pembrokeshire, today announced they will investigate the spooky goings on.
Staff at the seaside town centre believe their building is haunted by the spirits of two maids who used to live in the attic — and hanged themselves after both fell pregnant.
The tragedy is said to have happened when bluebells bloomed, and the building now smells eerily of the flowers.
One worker said: “It’s quite true, it’s a very scary situation – staff are not willing to work there at night at all.
“Things have been going on for years but it’s worse now than ever.
“Over the years when they used to light fires there, they would go out with a bang for no reason.”
Staff now say they will work in the day but won’t be in the building after nightfall.
A Pembrokeshire County Council spokesman said: “Members of staff have reported some strange activity and unusual noises.
“The council has arranged for the building to be inspected in order to reassure the staff working there.”
I know what you are thinking: “Damn Javier…this news post if from ‘The Sun’. Do you actually….wait…I have some magic beans I can sell you. Interested?”
Well you might not be thinking that, but you get my point. UK’s ‘The Sun’ news paper usually publishes rubbish. Then again, BBC news has an update on this investigation. What did they find?
A council has inspected one of its day centres following claims it is haunted.
A maintenance team was sent to the Wintern Day Centre in Fishguard to look for structural faults or anything that may explain strange events there.
A newspaper reports staff are afraid to work after hours as items have flown off walls, furniture has moved and unplugged printers have burst to life.
Pembrokeshire council said following Wednesday’s inspection the building was given a “clean bill of health.”
The council said members of staff at the centre had reported “some strange activity” and “unusual noises.”
A spokesman said a maintenance team went to look around the building but found nothing amiss.
“We had a few reports and had to take them seriously,” he added.
Exorcist call
“The last was five to six weeks ago so hopefully the problem has gone away.”
The Western Telegraph reported some staff were so afraid they were concerned about working there after hours.
It states unexplained events include printers printing when not plugged in, keyboards turning upside down overnight, furniture being moved and items flying off walls.
It also said staff reported a “haunting smell of bluebells wafting through the rooms” and said there had been calls for an exorcist to be called in.
Although the original story was posted on ‘The Sun’, let me remind you of the famous poltergeist case in Rosenheim. The story in which an employee was said to have been the foci of poltergeist activity. Read this article that I wrote on the Rosenheim case, if you’re not familiar with it.
Here is a short video of the Rosenheim case. Sorry, but it’s in German. No translation.
