Whatever happened to the “Is it real?” series on National Geographic? I love watching these. From their interesting fact digging and unbiased presentation, to their pumped-up guitar intro.  Although I’ve seen their special on Bigfoot about a dozen times, I still have to catch it every time I see it playing. It’s fairly interesting and well done.

Especially interesting is the interview the crew did with Bob Hieronymus. The man who claimed that Patterson & Gimlin approached him and made him an offer of a $1,000 if he wore a “monkey suit”. Bob claims that he is the Bigfoot in the infamous film. Although Bob’s friends can vouch for his story, no one has yet come forward with the “monkey suit”.

Bob sure does have an interesting walk.
