Raleigh, North Carolina, Thursday, January 23, 2014, @ 12:00 hrs. (EST)—A man is awaiting a job interview, and steps out on the veranda of the waiting room. He sees, and photographs, four discs in the noontime sky. The witness was standing outdoors, so the discs are not reflections of ceiling lights in the room behind him. Full Report

Duration:3 seconds4 Clear Disk-shaped UFOs over Raleigh, N.C.I saw 4 disks in the clear sky. I took a very clear photo of what I witnessed. I was on the 10th floor of a tall office building when I walked out on the balcony to look at some unusual clouds.I was on an interview and was immediately called back in, but not before I could take a picture. I didn’t look at the picture until later that day when I remembered how strange it was. I looked at it closely and DID NOT alter it at all. I showed a few friends and family members and the feedback was all the same.
Nobody could explain it at all! I’m completely baffled and really would like some answers to this strange sighting.
The objects looked like disks with a hole in the center. One was extremely large. (Maybe the size of a Walmart store).
The other three around it were much smaller but in a triangular formation and slightly above the larger one. (I emailed the photo to [email protected])

I am far less than certain why.
Judging by the light on the discs coming from a different direction than indicated by the way the buildings are illuminated, and the shadows on the railing in the foreground, and in fact the light seems to be hitting the individual discs from different directions. On the largest central disc the light seems to be coming from more or less where the photographer is standing, based on the highlighted section along the edge of the craft facing, while the smaller disc at the farthest right seems to be highlighted from its right. On the other two, there is just not enough detail to make any claims. From the quality of the image I am going to go with this being another application of one of the UFO apps that are common and freely available for cell phones. What baffles me is why NUFORC would bother with this.
