Most days when I sift through the reports at MUFON I see the run of the mill dots of light in the sky. However, on occasion I see one or two that look promising. This being a tough crowd, even the promising don’t seem good enough.

Today, I saw a photo of what appears to be some sort of craft in the tree line of a picture taken on Green Mountain in Washington State.

When I read the accompanying report I was skeptical but thought I’d look into because of the photo. After an exhaustive search I failed to find any UFO, movie spaceship, water/fire/observation/communication tower, railroad object or structure that was even close to the object in the picture.

While this could be nothing but a big pant-load of fakery, I thought that I may as well go out on a limb and put it up.

In other words, it’s a slow news day (so far).

The person who filed the report claims to have not only seen two “grey beings” but also experienced lost time on what was planned as a day trip in the mountains. He also states that no one else that was with him even remembers what took place.

The following report and picture were submitted to MUFON today (11/17/11):

Day trip to the mtns. 4 or 5 of us. We all felt like we weren’t up there for as long as the clock was saying. My brother had to get to work by 4pm. He was worried about being late all day, so I know we didn’t just let it slip by. About two weeks later I was reviewing some pic on my camera and found the craziest picture. At first I wondered what it was I was photographing. The pic was just trees the side of a cliff and the sky, but when my eyes saw what I thought they saw my jaw dropped. To the right of the picture are two beings I understand you call grey’s. One is holding what appears to be some sort of testing device, and the other is directly behind the first. looking straight at me. creepy. I can remember the exact spot where I parked my jeep, I can remember my girlfriend asking why I was stopping, and I remember leaning on my jeep while I took this picture. I can not remember seeing it though. I have to have seen it. why else would I take a picture of the hill! Another thing, no one else remembers anything. I have been up there twice since. the last time was about two weeks ago. The dirt road is now blocked half way up. If you Google (green mt. road Washington you will see half the mnt. when you get to the point on the road I took the picture,its blacked out. I will be going back up soon to see what else I can remember, and to see what I can find.

There are a couple things I see in the story that raises my BS meter and even the picture has me scratching my head trying to place it. Furthermore my spidey sense tells me that this guy took a picture, noticed it looked like a space ship and then built the story around it.

Now I’ll reach out the the readers and ask if they are either familiar with Green Mountain in Washington State or if they recognize this object in the tree line?

As you can see, it’s hard to tell if it has legs or is just floating there. Logic would say it’s some sort of tower but hey, you can never be sure.
