I received an email from Dan C. from California. Dan told me that he had taken a photograph at some strange “faces” that had appeared in a friend’s mirror.
Dan wanted to get the opinions of the GhostTheory readers. Upon looking at the photo, I automatically saw what Dan was talking about. To me, it’s a clear case of the pareidolia effect. I usually don’t bother with images like this, but since Dan C. seemed so interested in getting to the truth, something we (editors and readers) here at GhostTheory encourage, then I figured I would post it up.
Streaks on a mirror are a good source of “ghostly faces”. And a good case of needing to use Windex.
What say you?
Dear Javier,
I’m sending a photo I took a few years ago with a razor cell phone.
I was visiting friends in San Pedro, we were standing in her kitchen
and talking, while she was cleaning up. She cleaned the mirror, wiped
it completely clear.
I noticed her son ( a 30-ish adult) looking at the mirror, I followed his
gaze and saw this , I went for my phone and snapped this photo. It was
a bright sunny afternoon.
Turn the photo upside down, and you’ll notice something there, turn it
sideways and there are possibly two more faces visible. If you are looking
right side up, turn it to your right. The” faces” look like they are in motion.
Also, notice the “overlap” onto the mirror frame. Eerie.
I certainly invite scrutiny of this cell phone photo, especially professional
photo types.Thank You,
Dan C
