Ugh!
Apparently the whole “Spain UFO” videos that have been headlined in Terra.es (Spanish News site) have been nothing more than tributes to Orson Welles.
Just like Google’s doodles, these new viral videos were done to pay tribute to Mr. Welles’ 71 year anniversary of the “World of the Worlds” book. The first of the videos that was released was full of editing blemishes, like our readers pointed out; the jets did not maneuver properly while executing a turn. There was no sonic boom accounted for the immense velocity the these jets appear to have.
I understand people wanting to pay tribute to artists or people of inspiration, but when you are a information producing entity, you might want to rethink your strategy. Terra.es is a major news source for Spanish speaking people around the globe, so you can calculate the immense misinformation that was disseminated across. Of course one should be held accountable for their own interpretation of news and reports, but not everyone is on the same page here…
This would be like CNN.com planting the first video that appeared on Terra.es (the last video is obviously fake). I think it’s a mockery of UFO reported sightings and damages Ufology in several ways.
As far as what the “alien” is saying on the video:
Damn it’s hot inside, should have put in an A/C system or something, no? To me the “War of the Worlds” left a mark. It influenced me a lot, and I wasn’t even born yet. I just want to let you know that all this stuff about the “OVNI Gallego” [Spanish UFO] has been a small homage from all of us here at Terra(.es) to the radio vision of Orson Welles more than 70 years ago. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, look it up on the internet. That’s what it’s there for….. So can you get me a taxi or…?
Remember to question every evidence that is presented to you. Not everything is paranormal. Most is just…normal.
