I’ve read about the HPI on a few occasions. They have been providing several investigations in the Northern California area.

On this investigation, they reported pennies being thrown at them by unseen forces, as well as strange clicking sounds from a Sacramento home that is thought to be haunted.
Interesting read.

October 2, 2009, Friday: Where does the time go? October is here, Halloween is around the corner and the investigations are more numerous than ever. This investigation is in Carmichael. The occupants are David C. Muniz III and his lovely girlfriend Genelle Horton. The occupants have lived in their apartment for 2 years. David and Genelle give us a list of unexplained activity at their apartment. Here is that list:

Living room chair moves to the kitchen on its own.
A small mirror hangs in the living room and writing appears on the mirror. One time it was David’s initials, another time it was a kiss mark (lip prints).
A small like child apparition was seen in the patio. The child appeared to be 5 or 6 years old. Sex of child undetermined.
Woman ghost apparition seen in hallway and moving to the bedroom, she wears 1800s period clothing (long formal dress). Apparition has dark shoulder length hair. Apparition seems intelligent; she acts like she notices David.
Voices are heard in apartment, but the voices sound like they are in cans (maybe a vortex?)
Four chairs stack up in the patio.
Doors keep opening and closing.
Blessed oil kept on top of the refrigerator disappears.
Female voice is heard in apartment.
Writing on mirror that says ‘beware’ and ‘don’t do it’.
Water is sprinkled upon the occupants. Water has no source of origin, it comes from no where.
Pennies are thrown at the occupants. Pennies seem like they come out of no where.
Dogs get excited as if they are seeing an invisible entity.
Cold spots are felt.

Some history of the apartment and David Muniz III (the occupant):
Tasha the cat passed away in this apartment complex. She was found on the first floor, she may have fallen from 2nd floor balcony.
David was haunted by ghosts in his Elk Grove home and is still experiencing haunting activity at his new residence. Could have the ghosts followed David from Elk Grove to his apartment in Carmichael?
David’s grandmother was a tarot card reader online at Westword. Could she have originally been the one that opened up a vortex allowing other entities to filter through?
Could the entities be attracted to David, because he has sensitive type of abilities as there are a lot of information online about astrology and numerology, you can even check out this royal numerology review to get a free reading as well.

HPI Roll Call!
HPI Paranormal Investigators present are: Paul Dale Roberts – Lead Investigator; Kathy and Tom; Renee Martine; Christina George; Renee & Michelle Fontana aka The Border Girls.

Equipment and Items Used: Digital audio recorders, digital cameras, Ghost Radar, Listen-Up Sound Enhancer, Sage/Eagle Feather, Holy Water, Crucifix.

1st Investigative Session – FINDINGS:
Team: Paul, Christina & Border Girls. Christina is touched on her side. 2 pennies hit the floor. The pennies came out of no where. Cold spots are felt by investigators. Digital audio recorder jumps out of Michelle’s hand. Designer orb is taken outside of the apartment complex. Designer orb is enhanced and there is a face of a cat. The occupants look at the face and claim that it is their deceased cat Tasha. Tasha was an orange cat and Renee Martine when entering the apartment saw the color orange and asked if ‘orange’ meant anything to the occupants.

Note: Briefings are held after each investigative session and evidence is presented on the spot.

2nd Investigative Session – FINDINGS:
Team: Kathy & Tom, Renee Martine. Photographic anomalies of various orb activity and strange dark shadows where there should not be any dark shadows. The camera used has a flash and when 2nd photo is taken, the shadow is gone. Some orb activity has parallel movement and does not fall straight down like a typical dust orb. About 14 pennies are thrown around the apartment and investigators witness the penny throwing. Kathy had 2 pennies thrown at her. We tried to locate where the pennies were coming from and could not determine the origin source. Strange clicking noises follow David around. We could not determine the source for the clicking noise. I had David keep his hands outstretched and kept a close eye on him. The clicking noises would still continue. I had him move from one couch to another couch and the clicking sound followed him. One possible EVP was captured and it sounded like whispering and the word ‘sugar’. Come to find out, 2 pennies were placed on a bedding of sugar on the table, so we can determine movement of pennies. Could the entity have been talking about the sugar that was on the table?

After the investigation, Border Girls proceed with Choctaw American Indian cleansing. I later do a standard Catholic blessing with holy water and crucifix. I conduct a hedge-of-protection prayer and Banish to the 4 Winds Prayer. Kathy takes pictures as I take the blessing out the front door and banish the entities to the 4 winds – to the light. The pictures show orbs moving away from me as I conclude the blessing. A sweet smell resonates throughout the apartment after the blessing/cleansing.

CONCLUSION:
I have no explanation for the penny tossing or the clicking noise that follows David around. I have a possible EVP. I have a designer orb that has a cat’s face on it and the occupants say that it’s their deceased cat Tasha. Do I confirm that this apartment is haunted? I must say that there seems to be something unusual going on at this apartment that I simply can’t explain.
