Argentina’s “haunted” swing
I’ve been trying to avoid posting this story here on GhostTheory for some time now because of how silly it sounds. A haunted swing in Argentina?
This morning, I came across the video again and wondered if anyone had explained this phenomenon in a scientific way?
Although my physics education stops at a semester in college, this to me seems like some resonating effect caused by a wind factor.
I’m sure we have some physics enthusiast out there that can explain this to the rest of us. What can cause a swing like this to gain such force? I welcome your aero/thermo/resonance explanations.
