…If none of us are real, if in fact we are all part of a big computer simulation as researchers are trying to determine.
According to the Physics ARVIX Blog, and using the premise that Moore’s Law holds valid.
Holy Matrix Batman!
Anyone want to try and hack “God’s” Sys-op sign on?
For those of you in my position who do not know Moore’s Law by heart, here it is from Wikipedia.
Moore’s Law is the observation that over the history of computing hardware, the number of transistors on integrated circuits doubles approximately every two years. The period often quoted as “18 months” is due to Intel executive David House, who predicted that period for a doubling in chip performance (being a combination of the effect of more transistors and their being faster).
And those who have an eye on the future believe it possible that a cascade effect might possibly apply
Futurists and Moore’s Law
Kurzweil’s extension of Moore’s law from integrated circuits to earlier transistors, vacuum tubes, relays and electromechanical computers.Futurists such as Ray Kurzweil, Bruce Sterling, and Vernor Vinge believe that the exponential improvement described by Moore’s law will ultimately lead to a technological singularity: a period where progress in technology occurs almost instantly.
So as we try to model tiny little bits of the Universe on our largest supercomputers, remember there was a time when the term “Super Computer” referred to something with less capability than your phone. Is it even possible to determine if we are all just one big happy Sims Family? Researchers say it very well could be.
Being a computer simulation, as we currently understand the process, imposes certain limits on size of particles and wavelengths of energy. Again, this is with the caveat that we impose our own methods of simulation based on our current computers and projecting those methods into a reality where the capacity to simulate a Universe exists. Creating such a simulation employs what is called a lattice. A framework on which events “happen.” Nothing can be smaller than that framework, so a finite limit to “existence.” And, of course our current knowledge of the Universe reveals exactly such a limit which is known as the Greisen–Zatsepin–Kuzmin Cut-Off.
Again, from Wikipedia
A theoretical upper limit on the energy of cosmic rays (high energy charged particles from space) coming from “distant” sources.
I shan’t bore you with calculations that resemble nothing more than the glyphics on the recovered pieces of the Roswell UFO. If you understand them, you probably already know them, if you don’t understand them they are merely an interesting, if headache inducing exercise in visual acuity.
There is also the Planck’s Constant which is believed to set a finite limit on how small anything can exist. If you want to read more on Planck, check it out. And better luck with it that I have. Suffice to say it is really the smallest thing that still exists as a thing, before it resorts back to energy. I think. But that is not the end of it. What they are really looking for now is that if such a lattice exists, it will reveal itself in a specific symmetry of energy. With current technology we can look at the cosmic background radiation and see if it is possesses an unnatural symmetry, denoting the possible presence of a lattice, or asymmetrical scattering denoting likely natural origins of our universe.
So, Bigfoot, Nessie, Ghosts, what have you, could all just be parts of the program. UFOs, UAPs, USOs could be glitches, could be bugs in the system, could be software meant to check on progress of the program. Could be that “TRON” and “The Matrix” were prophetic.

To get in on the argument, if you have any strong opinions, weak opinions, opinions of some gravity, or electro-magnetic opinions, there is a discussion website called Simulation-Argument where you can go.
Strangely enough, this is not a new idea. It has been proposed for decades as an exercise in Existential philosophy and appeared in numerous Sci Fi, horror and fantasy books and movies dating back (to my knowledge) as far as H.P. Lovecraft’s “Whisperer In Darkness.” Though there may be earlier references. The “Brain in a Vat” argument ask what if you are just that? Nothing more than a brain receiving stimulus externally that is indistinguishable from what we currently conceive of as reality, everything you know is merely input from an external source, all created specifically for your experience? Where then is reality? What is meaning, or morality?
So researchers now put a scientific spin on an old idea and fire up the telescopes and the microscopes to examine it close up.
I just hope there isn’t some Mayan at the keyboard.

At least, I think so…
